Arriving at the college
Lady Margaret Hall provides full travel details. Note that you are strongly advised against bringing a car to Oxford for this meeting as the parking charges locally would be quite high. (If you do bring a car, park in the Water Eaton Park and Ride and take the bus in.)

Free time on Wednesday afternoon
We've built in a short break after lunch on Wednesday afternoon. You can use that to tour Oxford in daylight, or else experience punting as done in Oxford (totally unlike punting in Cambridge). Punts can be hire from the college, which is on the banks of the river Cherwell, or nearby from the Cherwell Boathouse.
Escaping in the evening
From the pub map you will see that your nearest options are The Rose and Crown, The Royal Oak and the Gardener's Arms (both of them). Tolkien fans like to visit the Eagle & Child, which is still easy walking distance
Residential delegates
You have full board accommodation in the college, starting with the reception and dinner on Monday until the packed lunch on departure at Friday lunch time. Room keys are available from 14:00 on Monday, but we've allocated a slot at 18:30 for you to check in to your rooms. You should leave your key at the Lodge by 9:00 am on Friday. The college provides a delegate information pack.
Day delegates
- Hypothetically, you would be provided with morning and afternoon tea or coffee and lunch. You would also be invited to the Opening Reception on Monday and the Conference Dinner on Thursday, but we have not booked you in for dinner on the other days. However, there are none of you.

Miscellaneous
The college has wireless networks throughout: the Oxford University network and also Eduroam. Coverage is shown here. For those of you from universities, if you have not already registered with Eduroam at your home university, you are recommended to do so as it will simplify matters greatly. As part of the booking, we undertook not to allow any of you to do anything that would bring Oxford University or Lady Margaret College into disrepute. We doubt that any of you had plans in that direction, but Oxford Brookes University legal team asked me to tell you that it's not allowed.
