Yanica is a PhD student supervised by Dr Mark Poolman and Prof. David Fell. In addition to being part of the Cell Systems Modeling Group at Oxford Brookes University, she is also enrolled as a member of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Malta (where she is supervised by Prof Cristiana Sebu).
Her research focuses on the application of Linear Algebra and Optimization techniques to gain insights from the underlying structure of metabolic networks.
