Yanica is a PhD student supervised by Dr Mark Poolman and Prof David Fell. Apart from working at the Cell Systems Modeling Group at Oxford Brookes University, she is also enrolled as a member of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Malta (where she is supervised by Prof Cristiana Sebu).
Her research focuses on the application of Linear Algebra and Optimization techniques to gain insights into the underlying structure of metabolic networks.
